I AM the Rescue Ranch is a non-profit organization designed to save animals that will save people. We basically rescue, for various reasons, all domestic animals, then we test them by putting them through varying moves, actions, and response situations, to see where they are best suited to carry out God's agenda. Before these animals go through these tests, we make absolutely certain that they are fully healed from whatever situational damage they have experienced, and they are no longer living in fear. Basically we feed them, bind up their physical wounds, and shower them in love, erasing any negative effects suffered out in this current world. At times these rescues require tractors to lift them out of mud, rocky terrain, or sometimes they've broken a bone or torn a muscle or flesh and can no longer get up or move, to be rescued.
We do this for free to clients, the agenda behind this is to show the love of God to be as powerful a witness as the prodigal sons father showed the his son upon his return. If you remember the story, the son was hungry, tired and maybe a little scared to go home until his father greeted him. I will use a dog show this on paper, but I have seen this with other animals as well. Remember how happy and excited the prodigal son's father was when he saw his son at a distance, dogs respond the same way, jumping all over you hugging and kissing you, so pleased and excited to see their master as they walk through the door.
The positions we train the animals to fulfill is as follows: companion animals greeting, loving, and keeping their human family members with loving company, this generally adds to the persons longevity and psyche. This companionship has also been proven healthier in other ways as well, especially because of the love offered. The next position would be that of a comfort animal, this entitles a person a level of assuredness that what ever they might suffer from, their furry cohort is there and can help their human to either stop whatever effects suffered or minimize these effects. I have seen young people with autism or aspergers syndrome, and in some cases turrets syndrome quieted in short order, all because of the compassion of their furry counterparts. Finally, we train service animals, most service animals are capable of handling more issues than they are trained for, so we make sure to tell the client if anything further arises in their condition down the road, we can train their service animal to handle these newer symptoms. Unfortunately, P.T.S.D. can have side symptoms such as irrational fears, these animals are trained, if not already by instinct, to calm and quiet their human counterparts. We have seen a miniature pot belly pig, untrained mind you, to calm and comfort a veteran suffering from major P.T.S.D. issues, this little pig just nuzzled this veterans with her nose and it pulled him out immediately calming him.
This service we offer is free to all, being partially handicapped, I have come to learn the irrational costs of being handicapped and by cost I actually am referring to the fact that it costs handicapped persons money or more money for the same privileges as a non-handicapped person would pay. We want to bring some justice to these unnecessary charges or mark-ups and help to make life a little more equal and a whole lot better to persons with handicaps or special needs.
